Hi, everybody.
I just want to know how you draw up a rental agreement. Do you need to do it through a solicitor, estate agent- or can you just buy a rent book, fill it out and hand it to the tenant?

Thanks to you all in advance.

You will need to give your tenant a proper lease - you can download a good sample [broken link removed].

You will also need to register with the PRTB.

Read their website carefully so you don't fall foul of the rules regarding tenants' rights and landlords' responsibilities.
