Buying a site for a self build house,have mortgage with Ulster Bank how long does it take to get the Mortage drawdown for payment for the site?
Have everything else in place,paid deposit,recieved planning permission,insurance etc.
My partner and I took out a mortgage with Ulster bank last year and drawing down payments to carry out renovations on properties. Please ensure that after you submit invoices etc you follow up with a phone call to ensure they are processing your submission. We have experienced a lot of probs with Ulster bank including not being able to reach anyone on the phone, having a different person dealing with our queries, funds being sent to a former solicitor. So I would insist you are given a direct phone number and the name of someone who will be looking after your file.
