any idea where i can get new oak doors internal at reasonable price. need 23 in total but prices v dear. missed a place closing down where they were selling at €55. any ideas. getting quotes €4000 approx but dont have this money.thanks
 
also interested to find prefinished white oak doors at good prices, anyone out there have any contacts please ?
 
i think oak doors can be got in ganlys for €90 euros each. we only want the 44mm thick doors. looking to buy 18 and have already bought all the handles, hinges, locks in the UK which were very good prices.
 
I am looking for inside doors as well, looking for better quality than brooks, etc, any idea
 
i phoned cathcarts in enniskillen and ganlys in Athlone today to get prices for 44mm thick prefinished white oak doors:
Cathcarts = £94 sterling incl of VAT
Ganlys = on offer currently at €89 (incl of VAT but normally €99 (incl of VAT)

anyone out there have any other recent prices available ?
 
I went to Divine Doors today in Dublin - quoted me 1500 for 5 doors (three with frosted glass) and 2 have no glass. This includes the glass and the handles, etc (handles 69 per set)

Doors are MDF and will be primed. I will then have to get them painted.

Fitting is on top of this at 75 per door.

Doors are by Artevi. Has anybody else heard of these?
 
at those prices it would cost me about €5500 + for 18 doors !! as opposed to €1600 in Ganlys. we wont be painting ours as these are prefinished doors. my husband is a carpenter and he would never paint doors that cost €300 each. we bought our black iron handles (fleur des lys design) for £7 a pair in Screwfix UK, black 3 lever sash locks at £4 each from e-hardware in the UK and good quality black 2 bearing grade 13 stainless steel hinges for £5.25 a pair from More Handles UK.
Divine Doors way too expensive for me.
