I'm making this enquiry on behalf of a friend who lives in an area close to a major river and who is increasingly anxious about flooding. He is anxious for any advise from anyone with experience in the above area.
He doesn't want to move house and is prepared to spend some money to minimise flood damage but would like to hear from anyone who has used some of the gates/doors that are sold for keeping out floods.How effective are they etc? Many thanks
