Does the Deposit Protection Scheme cover our company bank deposits?

Is money lodged in a deposit/bond account with one of our major banks covered by the Government Guarantee Scheme and if the company has 2 directors is the Guarantee 200,000 euro?

  • Personal customers
  • Sole traders and small businesses
  • Partnerships
  • Trusts
  • Small companies
  • Charities
  • Voluntary organisations
  • Accounts held in trust by solicitors (such as for personal injury awards)

Which begs the question whats a "small" company?
