Hi
Does anyone know if the factfinder & reasons why letter have to be signed by the client when taking out policies, investments etc

Re: Factfinder

The factfind does not need to be signed but the Consumer Protection Code stipulates that the firm must endeavour to have the client certify the information provided.
The reasons why statement again does not need to be signed but it is best practice to have it signed.

I would have clients sign both as it is beneficial for me to have a signed record that the client actually got both documents and the client can confirm the accuracy of the information given before they sign off on it.
