My husband had a small accident on his bike in town last Friday - van ahead of him stopped suddenly and my husband went straight into the back of the van - bashed his chin (nasty graze, no other visible damage).

He felt sick for a while after and had a bad headache. Headache remained until Sunday - though mild then. He wouldn't hear of going to a doctor until yesterday, Tuesday, when he admitted that his head is still sore and now feels he should be seen by someone.

Anyhow, on our street we have a doctor on one side and an osteopath on the other. I've always been intrigued by osteopaths and in a way wonder would this be more appropriate as they are specialists in muscular/skeletal issues.

At the same time the ones in our town aren't doctors - reading their blub they have at minimum a 4 yr degree in Osteopathic medecine and are registered with the appropriate councils. According to Wikipedia there's a difference between Osteopatic physicians and Osteopaths - that distinction doesn't exist here.

Are there any medical people out that who have an opinion on this?

In short - send husband to doc or osteopath?!
