Do Travellers Cheques have an expiry date?

Just discovered some old travellers cheques, maybe 9 years old, American Express in US Dollars. No expiry date mentioned on the cheques so I don't imagine they expire but maybe someone knows for sure.

If it has not got an expiry date on it then I think it should be OK but check with a bank and they will tell you either way.

No, they are the equivalent of money. You can check that the serial numbers are still valid, I guess - ring the issuing company and see?
