Do the colours on a black out blind mean anything in terms of hanging the blind

Hi
My black out blind has a white side and a grey side
Does it matter which side/colour faces the window and which faces into the room i.e. should the white side face into the room or face next to the window

Yes it does, if I remember correctly, the white side is the black out side. if not sure hold material to window and see the different effect it has on the window. Black out blinds/material makes a huge difference.
