Do I have to show my account details to SW

I got made redundant and now will have about 10K in my bank account.I do have a credit union loan of about 5K.
If I go to welfare will they ask what I am doing with the 10k,is there an amount that you can have in your account without them asking whether you need assistant's or not.

Also I rent a house out to a SW family and I receive about 500 euro a month before I pay tax after paying the mortgage,do I have to tell welfare about this.would this effect my Dole money

unemployment benefit is something you have earned over your working life and is not means tested. It does only run for a certain number of monthss

You will be able to claim jobseekers benefit for 52 weeks providing you have enough stamps paid. This isn't means tested so therefore not dependent on what you have said above. However if you need to apply for jobseekers assistance or any other help from social welfare (e.g. mortgage interest supplement) then you will be means tested and everything will be taken into account.

If you are required to give full disclosure, then do. If you fail to disclose everything on an application then you risk a delay in it being granted and/or it being refused.
