Workplace Contact Unit
The Workplace Contact Unit (WCU) is a helpdesk resource for employers, employees and members of the public. The WCU is the primary point of contact for our customers for a range of topics including:
- Reporting workplace fatalities and serious incidents;
- Complaints relating to workplaces;
- Obtaining health and safety information;
- Notifying the Authority of accidents or incidents through [broken link removed] and [broken link removed] forms;
- Notifying the Authority of construction work through [broken link removed] forms;
- Ordering health and safety publications.

An emergency service outside of standard office hours is operated. In case of a serious injury/fatality outside of standard business hours (9am to 5pm), please phone 1890 289 389 where you will be offered a transfer to the Gardai who will in turn notify a HSA senior inspector.
