Do HSA have a confidential hotline to report how unsafe a workplace is?

Hi.
I was just wondering do the hsa have a confidential hotline to report issues to about how unsafe this work place is.

I'm not sure of their confidentiality policy. You might want to withhold your number when you call, if you are concerned about this.



Workplace Contact Unit

The Workplace Contact Unit (WCU) is a helpdesk resource for employers, employees and members of the public. The WCU is the primary point of contact for our customers for a range of topics including:

  • Reporting workplace fatalities and serious incidents;
  • Complaints relating to workplaces;
  • Obtaining health and safety information;
  • Notifying the Authority of accidents or incidents through [broken link removed] and [broken link removed] forms;
  • Notifying the Authority of construction work through [broken link removed] forms;
  • Ordering health and safety publications.

An emergency service outside of standard office hours is operated. In case of a serious injury/fatality outside of standard business hours (9am to 5pm), please phone 1890 289 389 where you will be offered a transfer to the Gardai who will in turn notify a HSA senior inspector.
