Dividend Fund

Has anyone any opinion on Canada Life Dividend Fund. It got a good write up in the Indo. a few weeks ago, seemingly it made over 100% in the past four years.
According to the blurb in their brochure, its good in times of low interest rates.
The fund is investeed in at least 40 coutries worldwide, any opinions, min amount invest is 10,000.00; charges is 1.75%

charge seems high

IN 10,000 @ 3% div = 300 if taxed = 177 net (unless tax at 23% instead)

OUT 10,000 @1.75 charge = 175 mgt

Am I missing something here?

In a fund like this the tax applicable will be exit tax (currently 23%) which applies only on the growth element of any withdrawal or after eight years.
