Disposing of old Floppy Disks etc

I have recently discovered a rather large box of old computer disks/tapes at work. How do I environmentaly dispose of these?

I've got mounds of floppy discs I want to get rid of too.

So - BUMP.

First shred them for privacy. (Heavy duty shredder required for floppys). Then as they are just plastic and metal I think you could treat them as a dry recyclable.

www.jumbletown.ie if there are no privacy issues with the disks.. also n inductrial magnet wiped over them should clear the info
