My Whirlpool Diswasher (model ADG7540) isn't heating the water. Has anyone had this problem - and what was the remedy?

The appliance is just over 5 years old. I hope I don't need to replace it!

We're on our 2nd dishwasher in 4.5 years so I've given up expecting things to last. Maybe yours has decided to take early retirement. No harm to Google it anyway but we found it was more cost effective to replace it then to pay for a service call and parts.

It may be that your heating element needs replacing. You will need to call someone out.

As Gebbel says you will need to get someone (qualified/knowledgeble) to look at it.
It could be any of a number of things, eg, water level sensor/thermostat/heating element/wiring etc....
Or it could be as simple as a bad connection, lets hope....
Sorry could'nt be of more help.

Our Zanussi dishwasher did the same. The repairman looked at the circuit board and said that it can be just a dirty connection (soldering point?).

You could see all the soot on it which he just cleaned away and its been fine ever since.

He told me that he had just saved me over €200 by not having to replace the circuit board.
