Direct replacement of shower?

Couple of questions I am replacing a 9 year old Triton T90si with a T90xr
1. Have been told all connections are same and should be easy enough job - true?
2. How much should it cost for electrician to install (Shower will be provided)?

i just got this done about 3 weeks ago...

the xr is a direct replacement for the t90...

the only thing to look out for is different locations of holding screws. The pipes and electrical workings are the same and dont need much altering.

my brother-in-law did mine in about 45mins...

Mine packed in yesterday, just about to fit a replacement T90XR this morning, myself!

dont forget to take off the locking screw....

other than that it looked easy enough...

thanks guys - on the quote only one to date is 180 yoyos for a 45 minute job seems steep- dont want to DIY as its water and electrics plus not good at DIY!

€180 is far too much.
Last swap was charged at €68.10 inc
