Hi,
we signed contracts for our newly built house back in April 2004.Due to a dispute with the builders we have not moved in yet (problems including planning permission). We received the first offer of advance from Ulsterbank in May 2004 and subsequent ones due to changes in interest rates. This stopped in May 2005, at some stage mortgage monies were wrongly released to our solicitor who returned same.
Now, as we are close to hopefully being in need of the money soon, Ulsterbank insists, that we are going through the whole proce´ss of applying again, although we got primafinance, who arranged the mortgage for us to negotiate.
Furthe Ulsterbank told us, that it would have been our solicitors job to keep on top of things with them.
