Hi guys, not sure if i am in the right place or not, but would any of you know any websites that you can download free software to draw out pipe diagrams?

Sorry I didnt notice the word free!

Last year I googled "ms visio" "alternative" and I found a nice free visio clone package. Its name escapes me just now. Ill post when I get it.

If you play around with this you can make amazing diagrams in 3d

might be too much for just basic pipe diagrams, but worth a look

Maybe somewhere ?
 
Dia is useful for several types of 2d technical diagrams. I don't know what a pipe diagram is so I don't know if Dia supports them natively. It's free & there's a version for windows.
