I was wondering if anyone knows if there is an Incapacitated Parent Tax Credit available to people? One of my parents is incapacitated and I am looking after them at home. I have already applied for the dependant relative tax credit but it is significantly lower than the incapacitated child tax credit?

Besides the above is the other any tax credits I can claim to reduce my taxes for looking after an incapacitated person while working full time from home?

There is also Carers Benefit, which is “non” means tested, but subject to prsi conditions to qualify
