Defence Forces Widows and Orpans Scheme

I have paid into the above scheme for over 31 years and retired from the Army in October 2011
Now Im getting divorced in April and was wondering if im due any sort of a refund {yes times are hard} any advice would be very much appreciated

I assume you have spoken with your solicitor with respect to the terms of the divorse settlement and its impact on your pension?

The defence forces pension schemes are different in many respects from other public/civil service pensions.
