We recently sold our house and while paying back the mortgage, our solicitor has forwarded two requests for €55 each, from a 3rd party whom our bank allegedly use to "hold" the deeds and mortgage's
This is a disgrace!
I never asked the bank to outsource the storage of our deeds etc!
This is simply a case of the bank screwing the customer out of more money, a total rip off.
Is this legal for the third party to hold your deeds to randsom ?
