Decking in Cork

I am planning on having some decking installed out the back of the house. Approx 30m sq. on a slight incline. I was wondering what the cost would be if I was to have a rail at one side and flower boxes / seats on the other.
I'm not sure on whether to go for composite or treated wood either.
Would anyone have an idea on prices in the current environment and any recommndations on whether to go for treaded / composite?
I was budgeting about €5K.
 
I would stay away from the treated decking, as it's not treated through-out like it should be and it gets very slippy when it's been down for a while.
Composite decking seems to be the way to go. If you go that route, make sure your sub-frame is installed to a high standard.
 
yes composite is great I got Fiberon decking expensive but its not slippy and really looks like wood has a good grain in it
 
My neighbour got composite decking installed last summer. He also said that it was non-slip, it has the wood grain too and you can't see any nails or screws on the surface of the decking. It looks like new but it's only down about 8 months. The composite he used was Better Deck. He said that it was twice the price of treated wood.
 
Thanks for the replys, it seems like composite is the way to go, roughly about twice the price but no maintainance and onger lasting by all accounts.
