I have a large deck area to the rear of investment propery [house+ separate studio apartment. The deck is approx 33 ft long by 12 ft wide. I want to partition the deck so that tenant staying in apt.will have privacy. Its a Salou hardwood deck. I have spare rails and newell [spelling?] posts. I do nt wish to put up permanent boundary in case one of the properties is only let.The deck is raised approx 3 to 4 ft off ground.Deck has 2 separate stairways leading off back of deck
I wondered if I could put up artificial plants in pots that can be moved easily .I basicailly want to partition the 12ft.width to a height that will allow privacy. If I went with evergren shrubs would that be a solution.Trying to avoid leaves of shrubs falling on deck.Any solutions please .Clare area.
In the past I have seen large pots/half-barrels with upright posts nailed on the inside. to these wicker fencing panels are attached, this gives the privacy and flexibility if you want to move or take down the fencing at any point. The barrels can easily be planted with shrubs etc which would add to the privacy.
Try to get as loose a weave wicker fence if the site is liable to be windy
