deals on carpet

Anyone seen any good deals on carpet recently. Am in Dublin and need carpet for stairs, landing and 3 bedrooms, any good savings would be great. Thanks
 
Carpet Right are always doing sales, but to be honest, I would steer well clear of them - they can be a bit hit and miss.

There's a really good carpet place in the Coolmine Industrial Estate called (rather imaginatively) Coolmine Carpets. I don't know if they're having a sale, but I do know that my mother has bought quite a few carpets from them, and the service has always been excellent. If you mention that you want carpets for so many rooms, they may be prepared to do a deal for you. Des Kelly are good too, and I would imagine the mention of several rooms to be done might inspire a bit of price-cutting there too. It never hurts to ask, at least.

Des Kelly's have some good deals on 80/20 mix wool carpets. Some of their remnants are also large enough to do a decent size bedroom and are considerably discounted. No affiliation just a recent satisfied customer.
 
Hi,

Stay clear of carpet right - their underlay is rubbish and carpets are expensive from my comparisions. Am in Carlow and got Lowry's to do carpets upstairs and laminate floor - they are very competitive. If you wish I can give you their details - you could check whether they would do Dublin or not.

Thanks everyone, will look into those. Yeah kinda thought that about Carpet Right, they seem to have deals every single week, and when you look they're discounted prices are still higher than most shops original selling price. Thanks Again
