Okay so I am currently overseas for a few years and have a bit of debt at home which I am paying back.

OD - e500
CC1 - 1300
CC2 - 2200
CC3 - 2800

I am paying the overdraft back currently.

The other three are credit cards and the first one, which is with UB has about e800 taken off it due to a rebate for payment protection.

Other two credit cards are defaulted. One is with avant card. Other is with Halifax.

Halifax debt and Avant card debt have both being removed from my credit rating. Completely taken off. There is nothing to say I had debt with these companies.

Why did this happen?

I have rang Halifax and offered a settlement but they referred me this debt company. I rang the BlueStone debt company and they told me to ring this other place as they were dealing with it. When I rang these guys I was told there is no record to call the BlueStone back. Has my debt been lost in translation or what?

Very strange altogether.

Avant card have my overseas address but seeing it was taken off my ICB I think I may offer a settlement to them rather than pay the full amount.

Any advice appreciated.
