currency conversion fee

Hi I have a PTSB Ice visa card, they have just started listing a currency conversion fee for non euro transactions.
I never saw it before so I rang and they said that previously the fee was just included in the conversion but now for transparency they are listing it separately. It is 1.75% of the euro converted amount.

Do all credit cards have this and is this rate high or low compared to others?

1.75% is also on the AIB credit cards.

All credit cards have this fee, traditionally it was included as part of the conversion. Of late a number of issuers are displaying it seperately from a transperency perspective.
The fee usually ranges from 1.75% - 2.95% for Irish card issuers.
