I have lived in uk home for 7 years. I have a holiday home in republic.
if i sell the hol home to purchase a new house in the republic and then become resident in the republic, do i have 24 months to sell the UK property without incurring any CGT in either country.
if not who do i pay the CGT too and at what rates. What happens after 24 months ?
I assume then if i sell my republic residence at a later stage i will not be liable to any CGT as I'm resident.
Thanks for any help
