Croatia. Holiday Home

Hi all,

I am looking at buying a property in Croatia.

It will be primarily a holiday home, for family use. I may let it occasionally if that seems suitable.

What I have in mind is a house on its own ground. Not in a development. After that I am open to anything.

Does anyone have any advice, especially in terms of legal issues, ownership obligations, tax, political issues.

Any tips greatly appreciated.

I would personally be wary with the level of corruption but the place is amazing so you might be willing to take a chance. Apparently its a favourite of the germans.
