Hello,

I submitted a statement of means to a solicitor today, as they have taken on one of my debts from the original creditor.

So it has my income as say 200Euro per week and my expenditure 210 per week. Nothing non-essential on it, so what happens here?

Thanks

P

Well it's over a week now and the haven't acknowledged even receiving the statement of means. I thought with the amount of letters I had received previously, they could at least send me out one to say they had received it and what would happen next.

same happened to me, i wrote again and asked did they receive my letter so they sent two! cheeky devils..what happens next is they seek judgement in court for repayment.. dont panic, just be prepared, bring everything into court..medical expenses, your statement of means and explain to the judge how much you can afford to repay..i was terrified when i went in but the judge put me at ease and basically was on my side so dont stress yourself over it, just be open and honest.
