Credit rating - Credit Card over limit

Hi All:

Does any one know if you go over your credit card limit (say 150eur) would this show up as a negative on a credit rating report with Irish Credit Bureau??

No shouldn't show up on ICB - as long as you get back within limit in a short period - a) should you seek limit increase? b) don't borrow on your credit card - negotiate personal loan - much cheaper way to borrow.

with credit cards you have up to a month after the 'due date' to clean up your act before it goes to the ICB .

Not really. If they record what your limit is it might not reflect too well, however the main thing with credit cards is whether or not your repayments are up to date.
