Hi,
Does anyone out there have this cd player by any chance?

Reviews on the website sound too good to be true I'm beginning to wonder is it Creative sales reps writing them as too many of them compare it to BOSE!!

Would be interested in purchasing if any non-sales people can back-up the reviews as €280 seems to be good value for money.

Else. I'm looking for something for my living room with great sound for around the €300-€400 mark. Would like something that looked a bit different than the norm.

Yeah I bought one just over a year ago. Believe me it's a fantastic system. I read about it online as I was looking for a small stereo for my kitchen counter. I listened to a few stereos in DID then listened to this one. Wow! The sound is amazing. In saying that I have had one problem with it. A cd got stuck in it a few months ago and the display was reading "no disc". My partner hadn't told me and I put another disc in. Brought it back and received a new (recondtioned maybe?) system. No problems since. Recommend it 100%.

As poster no 2 said it's a great system for a kitchen but I wouldn't give it any wow points for a living room setting. Any of the half decent DVD 5.1 systems will deliver better sound when playing an audio CD.
