Cream paint?

i have painted all of my wood work with dulux gardenia. im delighted with it. everyone comments on it when the come over. i had been in a lot of showhouses lately and was wondering what the colours were that they had been using on the woodwork. i found out it was gardenia that they use in showhouses. its a lovely light cream. highly recommended

i've painted a lot of my house in Cotton Twine. Think it could be by Crown...not sure...i got it made up in the paint shop. lovely fresh colour...my mother liked it so much she painted a couple of rooms in her house the same colour!

Dulux DH White from their Heritage range. You can get it mixed at any specialist paint store, who can also use a cheaper, trade base to keep costs down. I have used Glidden as the base to mix DH White.

It is a beautiful 'old' white, used in older houses where brilliant white would be too harsh, and it would also work beautifully in a modern setting.

In the 4Home superstores they do the big drums in a few different shades of creams and paler colours. They are brill value if you are doing a large area.

They are really aimed at trade but the public can purchase as well.

I have Harmony (Fleetwood Designer Shades) in my kitchen and my parents liked it so much they painted their kitchen the same. I think it was about €30 for 10 litre bucket, great value.
