course with ICM

hi there

i have a degree in IT and am working in IT at present. i would like to get into management in the medium term and was looking at doing a "diploma in management studies " in griffith college. the award is from the ICM - institute of commercial management.
has anyone any experience of ICM? are the qualifications recognoised? id hate to spend 1100 on a course that is a waste of time

Never heard of the ICM but in general, a qualifcation that's recognised by the National Qualifications Authority of Ireland will be more widely recognised and accepted in this country. http://www.nqai.ie

You could check with the NQAI as to whether they recognise ICM qualifications.
 
The ICM is a UK organisation and there courses are accredited by the UK authorities. You might be better of with one thats accedited by an Irish university or authority but that depends on your circumstances I suppose
