Couple social welfare entitlement

Hi,

My wife was laid off recently, she had been working full time for about 10 months. I am working full time and earning approximately 30k PA. Will she qualify for job seekers benefit or allowance and will she be entitled to the full rate of €204 per week? Also would she qualify for rent allowance?

If you're working full time then your wife won't qualify for Rent Supplement, regardless of whether she is paid Jobseeker's Benefit or not.
