I recently recieved planning permission on the basis of certain 'contributions' to the COCO, they amount to eur21,000, altogether and i was just wondering can these be included in your mortgage costs or, does anyone know do you have to pay these seperately? Also, does this figure seem very high for 'contributions'? does anyone have any experience with this, in dublin?
that figure is very high but it can be negotiated with the planners . Get a councillor to explain it too. There may be a good reason like a sewer dig required.
it can be included in the mortgage, yes , as a site acquisition cost and drawn down with the site acquisition tranche .
Thanks 2pac, didnt realise the possibilty of negotiating it down. Its so high as it includes a proposed luas line contribution which is the bulk of the total, the other contributions are standard road/water etc... Thanks!
