I renovated an investment property prior to July 2008.I only succeeded in renting out property in Jan.2009.I am hoping to claim tax relief under the Countrywide Refurbishment Scheme which was to end on July 31st 2008.If anyone has availed of the scheme I am trying to figure out how much expenditure I will be entitled to offset against rental income.I have an interest only mortgage on the property.I was worried in case I do nt qualify for relief.
