I was wondering if any of you legal eagles out there could give me a rough estimate for the costs involved in getting our local authority to take a housing estate in hand.There are some issues with title and I would ideally like these to be sorted out.The issues are as follows:
1.The builder went into liqidation shortly after the estate was finished
2. The estate management coy. also became defunct at the same time-no deed of transfer of reversionary interest was ever executed.At present, the common areas are not held in charge.
3.The liquidator has put the estate in the name of the Minister for Finance
4. Drainage and lighting does appear to be the responsibility of the local authority-their name on drain grates etc..
5.There are 59 houses, and no apartments.
any ideas anyone??
