Cost of Studying in Trinity College

My daughter has applied to TCD and I am wondering what to expect in regard to living costs if she gets a place. She would need accomodation.

You could contact the college and ask about on campus accomodation, I think it's guaranteed for first years. After that I dunno!

living costs in Dublin

You could also contact the Students Union - they will have surveys of expected living costs. For private rented accomodation in Dublin you can have a look at www.daft.ie or the Evening Herald - depending on the area you should expect between 350 and 500 per month plus bills for a room or to share a room in a house share. It's possible to get bedsits or very small studio/1-bed flats for around 500 a month - these tend to be around Rathmines/Rathgar (the traditional flatland areas) and not always in great condition.
