Cost of Stairs for new house.

Hi Folks

Just wondering if anyone had any idea what a stairs should cost me.

Have just spoken to one carpenter who priced me 2,100 euros for a Red Deal Stairs. Does anyone have any experience whether this is reasonable, cheap or Expensive.

Am going to get another price next week. Would appreciate your thoughts on this.

It seems a touch expensive to me too. Maybe your stairs are unusal in some way? I would be interested in your other quote too as I will be looking for stairs in a few months. By the way, does the price include the timber?

Yes price includes the timber.
Carpenter said that due to length of the Rail needed at top of stairs price is a little dearer.

Am pricing 2 more people this week.

For a "once off" stairs,and from experience, it doesn't seem too expensive.

It would have to be designed and manufactured to fit the particular house. Most joinery's don't like this work, unless it pays well. They prefer to set up their machines and tooling to mass manufacture (eg: housing estates).
