Cost of Painter in Dublin??

Hi, i am trying to get someone in to paint 3 rooms in my house as well as some handy work (handy work is basically hang bathroom fittings in 2 bathrooms as well as wall cabinet in both bathrooms) and hang approx 15 photo frames in various places around house). The 3 rooms are the master bedroom a small room which is a little bigger than a box room (9foot x 8foot) and another room which is 19foot x 9foot. All rooms will require 2 coats so work will have to be over 2 days. I have a quote from a guy that my brother used in his house and he is very good and trustworthy for €700 for the lot, does that seem a fair price for these times???? Thanks

Hi Corkgirl, that seems like a good price to me, especially as you are getting lots of extra work done such as hanging pictures etc. We got a painter in to paint our kitchen, dining room, hall and master bedroom (in Dublin) just a few weeks ago and it cost 750euro plus the cost of the materials, but that was after getting two previous quotes - one for 2,800 to do the same job and one for 3,200euro! So the 750euro was a great price. They did a great job too. So I would think that 700euro for all the work you are getting done sounds very reasonable.
