Does anyone know approx how much per metre it costs to have a patio laid? I'm looking for a c12 sq m patio with a path to it of approx 9sq m. I'm going for a Tobermore tegula with granite sets to line the path ( about 20 linear metres of granite). The subbase is already there for most of the path. The new patio is on what is currently lawn so it has to be dug out but the soil can be redistributed in the garden so there's nothing to dispose of.
I've priced the Tobermore stone (NOT counting whatever sand/cement or whatever other stuff is needed to lay it) and it comes to around €950 at full price (not trade). I've gotten 2 prices for supply and fit and to me it sounds expensive.
I'm just wondering has anyone any idea of what is a reasonable price to pay in this post celtic tiger Ireland??
