When reading a Brief or putting one together, do you prefer the correspondence in chronological order or reverse chronological order? I prefer it in chronological order but I think I remember from somewhere that the correct way to do it is in reverse.
Any ideas?

What is often useful in a legal brief is a very precise summary at the start.

I would have thought that the order ought to be chronological.
