S sun Guest 28 Apr 2010 #1 Hi, I'm in the process of buying a house for the first time and trying to organise home insurance. The original building was built c 1900 but was totall refurbished and converted into a residential dwelling (terraced house) in 1995. When appying for a home insurance quote should i say the house was built in 1900 or 1995 The surbeyours report states that the property was constucted in 1995. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks
