This is a tricky subject to 'google' (too many common articles on contracting out there!) so unsurprisingly I haven't found a good match for my upcoming situation.
I'll soon be relocating to France, and my current employer (where I am permanent) has agreed to retain me as a contractor when I move, which should simplify the arrangement (maybe more from their side than from mine, but I'm not complaining). I'd love some pointers about how such arrangements work across borders, if anyone knows of any good resources or has any experience of such arrangements. I have contracted before in Ireland so have some experience, but I would obviously need to be registered and paying tax in the French system, so not sure then is it much the same as any other contracting choice of umbrella/self employed/ltd company.
