Connecting plinth to a Homebase Kitchen unit

I want to connect a plinth to a homebase kitchen unit but the connector which Homebase supplied is a Plinth Spring Connector but I have no idea how to connect it. Does anyone have either a link or a way to descibe how the spring clibs onto the board - is it something which is visible from the front of the plinth?
