I have an EV provided by my company (UK based but paying me through an Irish subsidiary) and have a charge point set up at home. My company pays for the costs of running the EV and the home electricity usage for charging the car. I show them the amount of electricity used by the car through the car charging App. and send them the tariff which allows them to calculate the expenses to reimburse. They have recently found out about the Government electricity credit and have decided to recoup this as they say they have been paying towards my electricity bill. Has anyone come across this scenario before? I find this unfair as the energy credit has been introduced to help cope with the cost of living crisis.
