Hi

I am a landlord currently renting a house in Wicklow. I last reviewed my tenants rent between 3 and 4 years ago (downward). Current rent is 300- 400 less than market rent. Am I correct in saying that I am entitled to issue an notice today of a rent review upwards of 10% to take effect with 90 days notice? And secondly if I do this now before Wicklow is added to the list of Rent Pressure Zones that it is legal even if Wicklow is added before the 90 days have elapsed?

Thanks for any responses

Who knows, they are making it up as they go along.

It would seem sensible to issue the notice, the worst that can happen is that you wont be able to enforce it.
