Hi,
I recently needed a fax machine and my Mam had one she was not using which is a combination of printer, fax, scanner etc. Its a Canon.
I only need the fax function, so what I need to know is, in theory, should i just be able to plug it in to a phone line and use it without hooking it up to the computer? I have tried this but there is nothing happening. It is working as I have used it to copy documents. I have tried also to find a fuction on it to programme in the number but I will see can I get the manual online.
I'm sorry if this is a very basic question, but would appreciate an answer as I need it to do some work from home.
