I got an OKI C5600N a few months back and it is working fine, no problems at all. Went to get two more before Christmas and OKI had discontinued them. Ended up getting their replacement, the C5650N. They (of course!) take different consumables, the only physical difference being the placement to a couple of pins :-( One of the new printers developed a sensor error on one of the drums after printing about 10 pages, the other one is fine. OKI were supposed to show up on Friday to fix it, but never did. The older C5600N works with Vista without any problems, but the C5650N despite having Vista comparable printed on the box had problems installing the drivers across the network. I think (but have not really looked into it) that when Vista looks for a new networked printer it finds the physical printer first, rather and the printer shared from a server. It then tries to download the drivers from the printer itself and hangs as there are no drivers installed on the printer. These printers support ftp etc and can have Flash memory/hard disks installed etc, so it might be possible to do this. But the drivers install correctly if the printer is selected from the server and I assume also if it is automatically available to the PCs via Active Directory etc.
Anyway the verdict is still out on the OKI C5650N and they cost about €500 ex VAT from OKI in Tallaght
BTW This a small office printer it has USB and RJ45 connector, but it may be too large for small home office.
