Hi Folks,
my brothers and i have inherited our folks home. In process of signing over deeds to us. No mortgage on the house..
My question is can i use the portion that i owe as collateral for buying a property in the south. Family home is in the North and i am living in Dublin and looking to buy here - FTB. What are the banks views on thiis. would they take this into consideration when applying for a mortgage?
Of couse this would be with the consent and agreement of other family members.
