Can anyone please advise of a way to kill off clover. This year it seems to have taken on a new lease of life and is spreading through our beautiful lush green lawn.
can anybody tell me is Sulphate of Ammonia "organic" or man made?
I have an "organic" garden and have been manually removing clover (it's actually quite theraputic!) but have been informed that Sul. of Am. will do th trick and green up the grass too. I would rather leave the clover than use anything dodgy. In fact I really like it when the clover flowers as the flowers are nice and attracts lots of bees.
Clover is not the worst thing in the world. It generates nitrogen for the soil and helps the grass to grow. Ironically, spreading nitrogen on the lawn is injurious to clover.
